Beers With Your Forecaster Feature Image

It’s December and we’re headed to the backcountry. With the backcountry comes risk. In an effort to make Montana’s playground a safer place, we’re hosting BEERS WITH YOUR FORECASTER.

Here’s how it works:

  1. An avalanche specialist from the West Central Montana Avalanche Foundation heads into the backcountry.
  2. The avalanche specialist digs a snow pit and studies the snow profile in detail.
  3. The avalanche specialist returns to Big Sky Brewing Company to drink beer and report their findings.
  4. Anyone in the taproom can ask questions and gain insight on snow quality and safety.
