As distant cheers and epic dance moves are still echoing off the back of the brewery, we’re closing the gates on the 2016 Summer Concert Series. You can read all about it in this recent Missoulian article.
Here’s our version of how it went down.
- Bands: Phillip Phillips, Slightly Stoopid, Boston Bare Naked Ladies, String Cheese Incident and String Cheese Incident (again, yep two nights!), Sublime, Chris Young, Brandi Carlile, Trampled by Turtles, Michael Franti, Rebelution, Breaking Benjamin, Fitz and the Tantrums, Pretty Lights, Government Mule
- Local Charities: Five Valley’s Land Trust, MTB Missoula, Garden City Flyers Disc Golf Club, Missoula Nordic Ski Club, Seeley Lake ROCKS, Bicycle Racing Alliance of MT
- Giving: We donated $73,500 split among the local charities listed previously. With another $25,000 kicked to MTB Missoula from our 21st Birthday Party. That’s just shy of $100k that we took out of our pocket book and invested in our community. All money is going to improve the playground we like to call Montana.
- Tickets Sold: 33,000 tickets
- Beer: 650 kegs drained
And for another fun fact….. on the average, we drained a keg for about every 50 tickets sold. Impressive work our friends.
Sadly, the 2016 summer concerts have come to an end. The good news is next year will be even better. We’ll look forward to seeing vigorous dancing early in the evening. All for a good cause and all for our community. Thanks for coming out.
