Concert series FAQ

Shows at Big Sky Brewing Company are presented outdoors in a large amphitheater and lawn setting. Some shows have both a general admission and a seated section with seats already in place directly in front of the stage. Other shows are completely general admission with no seats in place. Guests in general admission areas may bring blankets and single-seat folding chairs. If rain is in the forecast, please bring rain gear as umbrellas are not allowed in the venue.

 

Q: Are the shows all ages?

 

A: Yes. All ages are welcome to shows held at Big Sky Brewing Company.

 

Q: What time can I enter the venue and what time does the show start?

 

A: Please refer to individual show listings to determine door time and show time.

 

Q: What time do the concerts end?

 

A: When the concerts will end depends on the start-time and the performer(s) of each concert. However, no concert will go past 12:00 AM.

 

Q: Can I leave and re-enter the venue after I’ve been admitted (re-entry)?

 

A: No, there is no re-entry after being admitted to the venue.

 

Q: Is smoking allowed?

 

A: To preserve and protect the comfort of all concertgoers, smoking is only allowed in designated areas. Please be courteous and respectful to those concertgoers around you.

 

TICKETING INFORMATION

 

Q: Do I need to purchase a ticket for my child?

 

A: All children under the age of 5 receive free admission. Only ONE FREE CHILD ticket per adult ticket will be welcome. Children 5 and older will require a purchased ticket.

 

Q: What types of tickets are available?

 

A: All tickets purchased will be General Admission. Tickets in the seated section of the venue are still general admission for that area. For more information on concert seating, please see information under the heading FOOD & BEVERAGE, ALLOWED / PROHIBITED ITEMS below

 

Q: How do I purchase tickets?

 

A: There are four ways to purchase tickets:

 (1) on-line at www.presents.knittingfactory.com or  www.ticketweb.com or www.bigskybrew.com

 (2) by phone at 866-468-7624.

 (3) via official ticketing outlets at Rockin’ Rudy’s Records (237 Blaine Street – Missoula, MT) or the Big Sky Brewing tasting room (5417 Trumpeter Way – Missoula, MT)

 (4) at the gate on the date of the concert, if tickets are still available.**

 * Tickets purchased on-line, by phone, or at designated outlets are assessed a service fee.

 ** Ticket prices are subject to increase the day of the concert

 

Q: Are tickets refundable?

 

A: All ticket sales are final. Tickets will be refunded only if a show is canceled. Please note that all shows are rain or shine. In cases of severe weather, the event will be canceled and tickets will be refunded.

 

Q: I have tickets at Will Call. Where and when do I pick them up?

 

A: The Will Call booth is located near the Big Sky Brewing Company entrance and opens 90 minutes before the concert doors open. You must bring a picture ID and the credit card used to purchase the tickets.

 

PARKING

 

Q: Where do I park?

 

A: There is a large free parking area next to the venue. Upon arrival, please follow the street signs. Parking staff will point you in the right direction. 

 

Q: Is overnight camping/parking available?

 

A: No, there is no camping or overnight parking available at the venue. In addition, due to the limited parking area, no large vehicles (RVs, Buses, etc.) may park in the main parking lot.

 

Q: Where can I park my bicycle?

 

A: We strongly encourage concertgoers to ride their bicycles to each concert, however please secure your own bicycle at your own risk.

 

Q: I have a permit to park in Accessible Parking and Handicap areas. Do you have spaces available?

 

A: An Accessible Parking area is located near the venue entrance. A proper Accessible Parking permit is required. Please notify an event staff employee upon arrival.

 

Q: Is a shuttle available from downtown to the shows?

 

A: On the day of a concert, the Rhino bar will be providing a shuttle to and from the brewery. The shuttle is free with a Rhino wristband and is limited to forty people. Please contact the Rhino for more information – (406) 721-6061.

 

FOOD & BEVERAGE, ALLOWED / PROHIBITED ITEMS

 

Q: Can I bring my camera?

 

A: Cameras, video cameras, professional cameras with long lenses, and any other recording devices are prohibited.

 

Q: Can I bring my chair?

 

A: You are welcome to bring a blanket or a single-seat lawn, camp, or beach chair. No lounge chairs or multi-person chairs will be allowed into the venue.

 

Q: Can I bring my own food?

 

A: No outside food items are permitted.

 

Q: Can I bring a cooler?

 

A: No coolers are permitted.

 

Q: Does the venue sell food?

 

A: Yes. A selection of food vendors will be selling food within the concert area for the entire show.

 

Q: Can I bring my own non-alcoholic beverages?

 

A: Concertgoers are permitted to bring their own non-alcoholic beverages (including water and soda) in a factory sealed container. There is a limit of one beverage container per person. No canteens or personal containers will be allowed in the venue.  For your safety, glass is also prohibited.  No Coolers will be permitted.

 

Q: Does the venue sell soda and water?

 

A: Yes. Water and soda will be available for sale within the concert area for the entire show.

 

Q: Can I bring my own beer and alcohol?

 

A: No. Concertgoers are not permitted to bring their own beer and / or alcohol.

 

Q: Does the venue sell beer and wine?

 

A: Yes. A variety of Big Sky Brewing Company beers will be available at the show. Wine is also available at all shows.

 

Q: Does the venue serve hard alcohol?

 

A: No. The venue does not serve hard alcohol of any kind.

 

 

PERMITTED ITEMS:

 

– Shows at Big Sky Brewing Company feature a general admission seating area; your single-seat chairs are welcome.

 

– Blankets. Blanket space is limited, please be considerate of your neighbors.

 

– Factory sealed water and soda bottles.

 

 

LIST OF PROHIBITED ITEMS:

 

– Outside alcohol and non-sealed sodas, non-sealed water bottles

 

– Umbrellas

 

– Unsealed beverages / open containers (All non sealed water jugs / containers will be emptied prior to admission)

 

– Glass containers or bottles (please do not pack picnic items in glass such as salad dressing, sauces, etc)

 

– Weapons

 

– Fireworks

 

– Lounges and multi-person chairs

 

– Outside food

 

– Beach balls, Flags (on poles).

 

PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES:

 

Concerts are presented on a grass lawn setting. All guests are either seated on the grass with blankets, or in folding chairs. A limited number of spaces are held in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. We encourage all guests with special needs to contact our office at 208-343-8883 and every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate. You may also locate an event employee at the event prior to the show starting to make arrangements.
